Hello 2006

Holidays are over... It was a pretty good year.  Always amazing how fast time goes by and how each year seems faster and faster.  As I watch my 6 year old son who can't physically sit still for 5 minutes I try to remember what eternal day off feels like.

Work is about the same.  It was hard to go back.  But that is just more motivation to get out and do something else.  I think every one wishes to get out and do their own business... maybe I will.  I don't have any faith in a corporation to do a good job at it.

I hope all is well with the friends and family that perhaps read this.  I'm a good gift buyer, but a poor gift sender... sorry for the late stuff!

Coolest present I got so far was a little RC helicopter.  Which I've managed to crash already, but that is part of the fun (putting it back together).  I'm going to have to budget that... Second coolest is the computer we ordered, but it hasn't arrived.  Third was this cool poker set I bought myself.  I also got a free subscription to Netflix, that was cool.

One thing I like to remember in times of plenty (and these are plentiful times) is a solemn hope that pain and hate will end, there will be food for every one and wisdom to live life well spreads through out the world.  We all live and die, that will never change, but maybe we can enjoy it more--all of us.
